Just couldn't resist picking these roses from the garden. They are huge and have an amazing scent. Really brighten up the house!

Kaffe Fassett

Wow, Kaffe Fassett is just pure inspiration. Love his fabrics and mosaics, but have just stumbled upon his paintings which are absolutely beautiful! Picture Wall

So here at last are some photos of my Picture Wall finally complete and installed in the flat. All these frames are from charity shops, along with some of the original prints. Also included are fabric samples from an Indian Fabric sample book from the V&A Museum. In the middle the "Lost Love Song"print is done by David Brega (love his simplistic artwork). All in all a successful project...

Home Office

If I had my own home I would think about one of these creative home offices housed inside cupboards. Nifty hey?

Daffodils

There is nothing quite like some daffodils (and peppermint tea) to help you feel springy. Looking out my window today I can see the tiny buds on the trees just waiting to burst forth into all that spring has to offer. A bit like me really.

Bedside tables

I saw this idea on another blog and thought that I would try something different. While the original ikea hack was to create something quite modern, my idea was to use the distressed finish:
